Not much to report as Sasha is in season so we are taking it easy...

Sasha's mummy however has not and has gained a new title: International Champion!

We are very proud of beautiful Iita, not many girls can brag having both parents that are internationally beautifulPusu! It is a shame UK kennel club has in its childish attitude decided not to recognise the title INT CH anymore and will not note it in their registry!

I was looking at Sasha and she seemed a bit floppy so we have topped up the excercise to tone her up!

It has been very warm so when running around with other dogs, I think she has spent little bit too much time lazying around instead of running, it has also been too hot to bike/run with her(yes, myself is little floppy tooViaton)! So I have started taking Sasha swimming everyday.

We had Miihkali staying over for a weekend and Sasha loved having  doggy company! She was not protective over her things either, last time she would not let Miihkali drink from the water cup and would not let him in to the kitchen if food was prepared. Miihkali is such a softie when it comes to his girlfriend that only a look from Sasha was enough so no nastiness around but I would definately say she was over doing it slightly...

That was few months after the accident so she was pretty "unbalanced" then, guarding her things, low confidence etc... I suppose being stuck in the house for 3.5 months does not do good to anybodys mental state! But she has been getting better by the day and it is nice to see her gaining her confidence and getting back to the Sasha we knew before the trauma.

I have taken few new pictures, I can promise Sasha really is not wet all the time! It just seems when we take pictures we are out and about and as it is warm, we do let her swim if there is an opportunity to do soHymy.

Swimming is still Sasha's favourite thing in the world! She will not touch any treats while swimming and even ignores other dogs, just waiting for her toy to be thrown so she can go and get it again and again and again... Nothing else gets her to that state of mind and bouncing about, actually shaking from excitement when waiting for the toy to fly! At the moment we are doing an hour at the time but Sasha would do MUCH more if I let her, my arm is aching from throwing the toy so an hour will do for now!

This is my favourite picture from that day, shows the concentration on Sasha's face, and the clear aim she has

Holding herself up to see the spot the toy lands on

Little disagreement on who has the toy? No really, Sasha is training the HOLD and PULL(and leave). Many Leos can be little soft mouthed and will let go when for example weight is added to the toy e.g. pulling a boat/human to the shore... I don't think Sasha will have that problem, well I know she doesn't but it is good to practice ever now and again!

On the dry land but still wet Sasha...

Or should I say bison? She really is pretty fast and powerful looking when she is running on full belt! Little bit like a bison - If she is running towards you you will run to the opposite direction!
